Obituary of Joan Elizabeth Bloomfield

Joan E. Bloomfield went home to be with the Lord on October 22, 2017. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side.

Joan was born June 16th, 1954 in The Pas, Manitoba.

Joan married Edmund Bloomfield on November 21st, 1981. They were blessed with two children; Sandy Fiddler and Selena Fiddler. She also helped to raise her grandchild Jaiden Deschambeault of whom she treated like her own son.

Joan accepted Jesus as her personal savior and she served him faithfully.

Joan played the organ at the Anglican Church. She was an active ACW member for many years. She was also a lay reader at the Anglican Church.

Joan worked at the Awasisak Headstart as a nutritionist and Housekeeper from 2004-2016. The children called her the snack lady.

Joan was also a cook’s helper at the Mistik Lodge and was a caregiver to the McAuley Family.

Joan shared a close bond with her nephews and nieces. Her love for their children was very evident as she treated each and every one of them as her own grandchildren.

On May 2nd, 2002, her husband Edmund of 21 years passed away.
