Obituary of Evelyn Steffensen

Evelyn was raised in Carlyle, Sask. She was employed at the Royal Bank in Arcola, Carlyle & Weyburn, SK.  When she was losing her sight, she took a dicta-typist course and moved to Regina where she was employed in Medical Records at Regina General Hospital until her retirement in 2000.  Even though she lost her sight, she worked for 42 years.  In 2022, she moved to Sisters in Care in Nipawin to be closer to her sister & was presently living at North Haven Care Home in Smeaton, SK.

Evelyn was predeceased by her parents Nels & Mildred (Eaton) Steffensen and brothers Glen & Lloyd. She leaves to treasure her memory - sisters Lorna and Lori (Don) Kerr and brother Gordon (Carol); niece Krista & nephews Shawn & Matthew.

Our sister was a kind, gentle, caring & generous lady and was loved by everyone she met.  We will miss her dearly.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Regina, SK..
