Obituary of Cecelia Sewap
Cecelia Ann Marie was born in June, 1991 in Nipawin, Saskatchewan. Cecelia left this world with her family by her side on February 8th, 2024, at the age of 32 years old. Cecelia grew up in Cumberland House. She attended and graduated from Nisto Awasiak Memorial School. In recent years, she lived in Prince Albert, until her untimely death. She was also known as “C-Lee Poms” or “Cece” by family and friends. She enjoyed listening to music and loved dancing. Cecelia was blessed with three children: Roland, Wynter and Elizabeth. She was also a proud Auntie to her nieces and nephews. A special thank you to her sister Hermaline for caring for and loving her son and daughter.
Cecelia was predeceased by her grandparents: Fred Stewart and Hermaline Sewap & Robert and Melanie Crate; her brothers, Johnny Sewap, Danny McLeod; her sisters, Vanessa Carriere and Maria Peterson; her uncles, Charlie Stewart, Zachias (Zeeks) Stewart, Louis (Louwegee) Nabess, Larry Crate, Victor Crate and Danny Crate; and her aunt, Lorraine Crate.
Cecelia is survived by her mother, Melanie Sewap; her father, Clifford Crate; her children: Roland, Wynter and Elizabeth; her sisters: Hermaline Sewap, Theresa Sewap, Tracey Constant; special sister, Deasia Thomas; her brothers: Christopher McLeod, Justin Sewap, Simon Sewap; her aunts: Clara Nawakayas (Floyd), Flora Dussion (Joe), Josephine Stewart (Robert), Barbara Stewart, Rachel Fiddler (Donald) and Elaine Crate; her uncles: Brian Crate, Gregory Crate and Ronald Crate; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
