Obituary of Elizabeth Ursula Statham

Elizabeth Ursula Statham (nee Zielke) passed away in Melfort Hospital on January 18, 2017, at the age of 80.  Elizabeth was born in New Osgoode, Saskatchewan on February 25, 1936, to Gustav and Fredaricke Zielke (nee Gaertner).  

Throughout her life, she resided in Saskatoon, Lumsden and most recently, Tisdale and Kinistino, Saskatchewan.  Elizabeth was a talented artist, crafter and photographer.  She also enjoyed the outdoors and her garden throughout her life.  

Elizabeth is predeceased by her parents, her brother Martin, niece Yvonne and nephew Robert.  

Elizabeth is survived by her daughter Corrine, granddaughter Nora (both of Guelph, ON), her son Dean (Banff, AB), brother Alfred Zielke (Tisdale, SK), sisters Esther Burns (Tisdale, SK) and Renate Zielke (Edmonton, AB), seven nieces and three nephews.

Cremation has already taken place and a private memorial will be held at a later date.
