Obituary of Gregory Morrow
Greg, the youngest out of five children, was born in November, 1947 in Saskatoon, SK to Harry & Gladys Morrow. Schooling wasn’t a big priority for Greg, however, making money was. After finishing grade eight, he entered the work force. During his first working years, he did a few different jobs. Among them were riding horses for Carl Fleming, the railroad, and the saw mill in Prince George. In 1969, Greg went to the Yukon & worked at Racheria Mile 710 on the Alaska Hi-way. While working at 710, Greg met Janet Bargery. They were married in September, 1973. They stayed at 710 for two more years, then moved to the Raymore area in Saskatchewan and here they were blessed with two daughters, Tina & Koreen.
Greg spent the summers as a cat operator, cleaning corrals, and during the winter, he was employed by Kledo Construction in Ft. Nelson, BC. He became semi-retired at the age of 50, keeping his winter job. In 2006, the family moved to Nipawin.
Greg loved buying & selling. He was a teaser and a prankster. He has definitely left his mark on anyone who knew him.
Greg is survived by his wife, Janet and his two daughter, Tina and Koreen and their families.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
