Obituary of Philip Crane Jr.

Philip left the world suddenly on August 30, 2022 and is reunited with his parents, Philip Sr. and Denise Crane. Philip will be fondly remembered for his contagious laugh, his jokester attitude he inherited from his father, his true friendship and his love for his family and friends. Philip Crane Jr. was born in 1981 in Nipawin Saskatchewan to Phillip and Denise Crane. He is the youngest of 4 and the only son. Philip grew up and lived in Cumberland House all of his life. He attended school at Johnny Stewart Memorial School and completed some high school at Nisto Awasisak Memorial School. Philip was a kind and loving father to his five children; Videlle, Vada, Acia, Kayden and Marco. Philip had a strong connection with the land. His occupational choices and his hobbies reflect that love of the outdoors. He worked many summers as a firefighter, as a fire suppression worker and sometimes as a tree planter. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, anything related to Dragon Ball Z- his all-time favourite show. He even named his eldest daughter after a DBZ character. He loved playing dice, cards and bingo with family and friends. Philip was predeceased by his parents, Philip and Denise Crane, his grandparents, Louisa and Julius Crane, Marie Alma and Ernest Chaboyer Sr., his sister Dorothy Crane, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Philip leaves to cherish his memory, his children; Videlle, Vada, Acia, Kayden and Marco, his sisters, Lisa Budd (Calvin Sr.), Josephine Morin, Scarlett Buck, his brothers Julian and Johnny Dean Buck. His nieces and nephews; Tamara, Ricco, Kassidy, Calvin, Kirby, Dorothy, Dakota, Shaun and Shane. His aunties and uncles; Kathleen (Gilman) Thomas, Clara (Charles) Cook, Raymond (Wilma) Chaboyer, Carl Chaboyer, William Chaboyer, Lester Chaboyer, Ernest (Lorna) Chaboyer, Norma (Clem) Chaboyer, Stacey Chaboyer and Melanie Sewap.
