Obituary of Matthew Joseph Munson

Matthew Joseph Munson was born June 28, 1986, to his loving parents, Mark and Suzanne Munson, in Saskatoon, SK. Matt grew up in Zenon Park alongside his two younger siblings, Eva and Phil. He received his bilingual education in Zenon Park, receiving his high school diploma in 2004. He then moved to Saskatoon to attend the University of Saskatchewan and convocated with a double honors Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Biochemistry. During Matt's university education, he worked doing Landscaping at Pasquia Park, as a Biology Summer Student and a Teaching Assistant. In 2008, he began working at the University of Saskatchewan performing plant research for his Master's Program and continued as a teaching assistant in Biology labs. Matt was Treasurer and President of the Biology Club and Biology Graduate Student Association at the U of S between May 2006 to 2012. Matt enjoyed playing softball, hockey and water polo, as well as rollerblading around Saskatoon, camping, crib card games and spending quality time with his friends. He loved spending time with his family and babysitting his first nephew, Carter.

He is predeceased by various Great Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and extended relatives.
