Obituary of Bobby Wilkinson
Please share a memory of Bobby to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Bobby Allan Wilkinson was born in Two Hills, AB to Stan and Leona Wilkinson, the second of four children. At a young age, he and his family moved to Tisdale, SK where he enjoyed his childhood on the farm. He went on to build a full and beautiful life with his wife, Marybeth, and four children.
Following high school, Bobby attended Briercrest Bible College before coming back to work with his dad on the family farm. During this time Bob was active in his Church’s College and Career group and attended a retreat at Katepwa Lake Camp where he ended up meeting the love of his life, Marybeth. Bob and Marybeth were married on December 21, 1978 in Chemainus, BC and began building their life together on a farm in Clashmore, SK. Three years later, they built a house on their current farm just outside Tisdale and went on to become an integral and loved part of their community.
Bobby was a man of deep faith and was always active in serving God by serving those around him. He enjoyed being on the farm, camping, hiking, golfing, volunteering with hockey ministries, and spending time with his wife, kids, grandchildren, and many friends.
Bob is lovingly remembered by his wife Marybeth of 42 years, their children Joylene (Trevor) Frost, Jeremy (Crystal) Wilkinson, Jamie (Amanda) Wilkinson, and Jennifer (Nathan) Rush and their twelve grandchildren: Zoe, Deacon, Oscar, Jack, Thomas, Juliette, Connor, Finnigan, Emmie, Rosyn, Penelope, and Henry. He is also survived by his sisters Elan (Boyd) Wiebe, Janice (Ron) Farquhar, and Lorinda Wilkinson and their children.
Bob was predeceased by his father, Thomas Stanley Wilkinson and Mother, Leona Mae Wilkinson.
Dad, we will miss you dearly – we love you.
A private celebration of Bobby’s life will take place on Friday, March 12 at 2 pm at Tisdale Alliance Church.
