Lorraine Effie Dussion was born to Rose Virginia Dussion (Nabess) and the late Daniel Joseph Dussion in April, 1964 in The Pas, Manitoba. She passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021 in Cumberland House, Saskatchewan at the age 56.
Lorraine “Granny Gang” loved spending time with her family and taking care of her Mom Rose. She loved all her grandchildren with all her heart, they were her everything. She would often joke around and say, “I hope some of them act like me”! giggling in her funny voice. Lorraine was outgoing and had a great sense of humor. She was fun to be around and had the biggest heart. She enjoyed spending time with her uncles and aunties. She would try to go and visit them often and help them out when she could.
Lorraine was predeceased by her only son, Daniel Boyd Flett (Danny Boy); her father, Daniel; her maternal grandparents, Louis and Ethel Nabess; her paternal grandparents, Paul and Flora Dussion.
Lorraine leaves to mourn her mother, Rose; her brothers, Laverne, Lance and Morris; her daughters, with her former spouse Horace (Alex)Flett, Lindsay, Karla (Rene) and Kara (Brent); her grandchildren, Kalen, Mathew, Danielle, Maria, Marcel, Dallas (Kassie), Thierry, Lynden and BreAnn; her Chapan Haisley and another one due in July; her nephews Skyler (Murielle), Ethan, Aaron (Dineen), Corey, Carl, Toby and Malcolm; her nieces Emerson, Savannah, Deanna, Regina and Vienna. Lorraine leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends, she cared for everyone equally.
