Tom and I would sing looking out my back door by CCR every morning while I cleaned his room in Extended Care Unit. He was a sweet man.. he had a heart of gold.

I had the privilege to serve with Tom from 1991 to 1995.. To continue our political life we found ourselves running against each other for the nomination in the new riding of Carrot River Valley. Though I was the successful one, we remained friends. 1991 to 1995 we spent a lot of time together at the restaurant in the West Harvest Inn. We ate many a meal together and Tom had a story at each one.. A Brick Layer story, a story about his rolling his car and almost drowning..and many more.. He was a great poet as well. He was fun to be around and all the MLA's enjoyed his company. He was also a very good MLA, with lots of ideas, and principled determination. We will miss Tom Keeping.

I served with Tom in the legislature. He was kind, a great sense of humour and understood rural issues. He represented his constituents and the Provence very well. My sincerest sympathies to Tom’s family.

I just heard of Tom’s passing. He was a very nice guy with a great sense of humour and it was a pleasure to serve with him in the Saskatchewan legislature. Tom was very dedicated to the people he served and I had a lot of respect for him. He was a truly genuine person. Sincere condolences to all the family.

My sincere sympathy to the Keeping family. I knew Tom when he was an MLA and sat with him from '91 to '95. I knew him to be a solid, salt of the earth person, kind and caring. He will be missed and I send my condolences and prayers to Tom's family.

My condolences on your loss. I served with Tom in the Legislature and did several tours with him of his constituency. I have a treasured snapshot of us standing by the sign for the town Love. We also spent some time by a lovely river called the Torch I believe.
Tom came to visit us on Vancouver Island when he moved to Powell River and we had some wonderful conversations. He will be missed by many.a

I got to know Tom when we both were elected to the Saskatchewan Legislative in 1991. In fact in the early days of the Legislative Sitting Tom and I were seat mates in the House and shared an office in the Legislature. I got to know Tom for who he was a kind, caring, thoughtful, respectful person, who was passionate about his constants. Tom would strongly make his points in a debate while listening carefully to the points of others. He will be remembered for his alway ready humour that would lighten any situation.
I know the world is a better place because Tom was in it, I also know that I’m a better person for having known him.
My condolences to Tom’s family.
Rest In Peace Tom.
