Obituary of Paul Pelly

Paul Pelly was born on November 2^nd, 1947, he was a fraternal twin, to Stanley and Helen Pelly at Cumberland House, SK.

Paul went to his heavenly home on October 4^th, 2019 at 3:40 pm with his loving wife by his side.

Paul married Corrine Settee on November 9^th, 1991 at Cumberland House, SK. They were blessed with two children Pauline and Sheldon. He had a large extended family and numerous grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Paul attended school at Pemmican Portage and then later on started at Charlebois School.

He was a hard worker and spent some time working at Lynn Lake, Manitoba as a laborer. He came back home and he started working at the farm for 18 years. Later on, he worked for the town and also spent some time working as a firefighter and a cook.

Paul enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. He liked playing Bingo and always ran into his friends from Cumberland. He always had time for them, reminiscing about back home. He spent his time watching T.V. such as football, baseball and hockey but his favorite program was wrestling where he would talk to the T.V.

Paul was well liked by everyone who knew him. He was known as the famous man, he got this name when people traveled, they would write on walls, “Paul Pelly was here”. His name was written all over Canada, Scotland, Paris, Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon and so the list goes on.

Paul is survived by his loving wife Corrine, daughter Pauline, son Sheldon. His brothers: fraternal twin Peter, and Eric; a large extended family, nieces and nephews, cousins, and god children.

Paul was predeceased by his parents Stanley and Helen Pelly; his sisters Rosalie (Ralph) Sewap, Marie (Robert) Budd, Debra Pelly, and Lucy Ann Pelly. His brothers Pat Pelly, John Pelly and Robert Pelly. His nieces Jessie Budd. His granddaughters Lauren Budd, Melanie Budd, Rose Budd, Mavis Budd. His grandson Gabe Budd. His brothers in law Ralph Sewap and Robert Budd. His in laws John and Alice Settee.

Paul will be greatly missed by everyone he met. He was a loving father, brother and friend.

He will be forever in our hearts.
